Hello, and thanks for visiting my site! I produce live-to-air and live-to-tape studio-based series and specials in front of live audiences — as you know, a high-stakes, deadline-driven environment — and I would be thrilled to bring my years of producing experience to Family Feud Canada.

Most recently for CBC, I produced the Scotiabank Giller Prize (with a 20% ratings increase over the previous year’s broadcast), earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination for producing the Air Farce New Year’s Eve special (which annually delivers 1,000,000+ viewers to the network), and worked with our country’s biggest and brightest stars (including Gerry Dee in 2018) as the talent producer of the last three Canadian Screen Awards telecasts … plenty of valuable experience collaborating with the amazing people at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre.

One of my first production jobs was as contestant coordinator on Smart Ask!, a daily high-school quiz show for CBC, and since then, through all the comedy and variety, I have looked for an opportunity to return to the genre.

I am passionate about celebrating talentpromoting audience engagement, and creating compelling programming for large audiences — everything Family Feud accomplishes daily for forty-three years and counting. I have been a fan of this legendary format since childhood, and whether working with the host, the contestants, or with the in-house CBC team, I would love to be on board with Family Feud Canada.

All the best,

Mark Selby
