Hello Late Show Team,

I would be honored to bring my decade-plus of experience to The Late Show as your new Field Producer.

As a broadcast and digital media producer, I create and execute projects for major networks and platforms. Details and a demo reel are available here on my website.

Joining the Colbert team would not only be a dream job, but it's the perfect fit for my skills and experience. Working almost exclusively in live (or live-to-tape) TV comedy and variety, as well as online, my recent projects include the long-running Air Farce New Year's Eve, Canada's highest-rated annual sketch comedy show; the Canadian Screen Awards, our equivalent of the Golden Globes featuring high-profile talent from Tatiana Maslany and Margaret Atwood to Dave Chappelle and Howie Mandel; and a collaboration with Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud Network and Montreal's Just For Laughs festival on a 52-episode web series and short-film competition.

I have produced numerous segments, series, and specials over the years, the majority on tight deadlines and even tighter budgets. Coming from the worlds of daily talk shows and topical comedy series and specials, I fully understand the need for quick, clean, and good work.  I am also a big fan of The Late Show and have long admired the brilliant work Stephen Colbert, Chris Licht, Tanya Bracco, and the team produce on a daily basis.

I am looking for a long-term/full-time role in NYC, have all the necessary paperwork ready to go, and would be thrilled to discuss this role further. Together, let's ensure Barry Julien gets some Canadian company on staff!

Thanks very much,

Mark Selby
